In delivering a successful industrial protective coating project there needs to be a well written protective coatings specification for Metal, Steel, Concrete, rust etc.

RAPs experience is across many industries, including; oil refinery tank & pipe lines, potable water tanks, sewerage treatment plants & pump stations, road & rail bridges.

In the first instance a General Specification is a document that can be applied generically across an organisations assets however it must be unique to that industry & the organisations objectives.

For instance a large petrochemical company may have an objective to gain a 25 year life out of any new asset and they with have a corrosion engineer selecting which materials to construct with but they also need a protective coating specification to align the design life of the protective coatings to the asset.

In the second instance RAP can also tailor a "Project specific specification" that will align under a General Specification but will address;

  1. Site specific issues, such as; access, environment, interfaces between structures, unique risks, etc.
  2. Methodologies for work. This will address the order of work and how work should be performed. These are items that the Client wants to address due to avoid poor workmanship.

Using great documentation and referencing known Standards, Remedy can help you enforce and align the interests of all the intermediaries' and swing the pendulum back towards the interests of your organisation.

In following these steps your organization can use this documentation to assist in streamlining your tender management and when included with the contract documentation will enforce Contractor compliance or claim against project insurance/warranties.
